Emergency response training for your team

ISC is a partner of NIBHV. We train and certify your staff at your own site or at our Willemstad location, in groups of 10 to 15 participants.

BHV basic course

Two days

For new emergency responders: one day of first aid and one day of fire prevention, fire fighting and evacuation.

  • First aid and CPR with AED

  • Exam and NIBHV certificate

BHV refresher

One day

Keeps the certificate valid every year: half a day of first aid and half a day of fire prevention and fire fighting.

  • Morning: first aid and CPR

  • Practical scenarios
  • Certificate renewal

Firefighting Team Leader

One day

For staff who lead the emergency response team during a fire.

  • Leading the response to a fire
  • Coordination with the fire brigade
  • Practical exercises
  • Certificate on completion

How it works

From request to certificate

Cancelling or rescheduling is free of charge up to 14 days before the course date.

01RequestYou choose the course, the number of participants and a preferred month.
02Quote and paymentYou receive a quote. Once paid we confirm the request.
03Planning and trainingOur BHV coordinator schedules the date. Theory and practice by a certified instructor.
04Exam and certificateThe exam is in Dutch or English. Participants who pass receive the NIBHV certificate.

Is ISC recognised by NIBHV?

Yes. ISC is a partner of NIBHV and certifies participants itself. Participants who pass receive a NIBHV certificate.

How long is a BHV certificate valid?

The certificate stays valid with a yearly one day refresher course. We are happy to schedule it for you.

Where does the training take place?

At your own site, so your team practises in the building where it has to act, or at our location in Willemstad.

In which language is the training given?

Training and exam are in Dutch or English, depending on your group.

How many participants can join?

A group has 10 to 15 participants. If your company has fewer than 10 participants, we charge for 10 places. You can also register for an open course date and pay only for your own places. For larger teams we schedule several groups.

When is the course scheduled?

Once your payment is received. Courses run Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30.

Can I cancel or reschedule a course date?

Yes, free of charge up to 14 days before the course date.
