Jablotron has added a new section called Users and access to the MyJABLOTRON 2 app. It brings together the sharing settings and the configuration of users in the control unit. For each user you can change the name, the access code and the phone number.
In the system detail you open the context menu, choose Users and access and then Local control. You authorise with the Master code, select a user and save your changes. When you leave user management, the app automatically logs you out of the control unit.
Typical uses are giving a child their own code instead of a shared one, replacing a phone number after a change, or overwriting the name and code in a user slot when a temporary worker leaves.
Please note the following limitations:
- You can only edit users that already exist in the control unit. Adding a new user this way is not possible.
- It is available for JA-100+ and MERCURY control units, in both cases with a Jablotron SIM.
- The phone number can only be edited on JA-100+ control units.
- Support for JA-101 and JA-106 is being worked on.
- You need app version 1.22.0.
